Yay! so you really want to do this? You've come to the right place, I have done so much research and will continue adding more as soon as I find them and consider them reliable.
1. Viki aka Rakuten Viki - I wasn't sure if I should make Viki number 1, but, they have a huge library of shows and movies Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese and some from the Philippines as well. You can watch shows for free with a healthy side of ads that might get frustrating if you're wired that way, you can also choose to pay if Ads drive you nuts, I paid to save me time. Viki also has a timed comments section, ratings and reviews. The first time I watched Viki, I had to turn the comments section off, but honestly now, I live for the comments section, it just elevates the whole process. I'll write more about Viki in another post, because its a whole other beast and deserves its own post.
2. Netflix - Easily accessible to most people especially if you live in our neck of the woods. Netflix jumped into the Asian drama market a while ago and changed the landscape (RIP Dramafever). They have a decent library of Asian dramas and subtitles are always there (you have to wait for subtitles on Viki). You will need a subscription to watch anything on Netflix, but if you're already watching Joe Exotic aka Tiger King you can just easily search for Boys Over Flowers and get started. Netflix also has a 30 day free trial.
3. Hulu - They have a free trial and if you already have a subscription, you can catch a decent number of dramas on there.
4. WeTV - You can watch free or with a subscription, this site has just Chinese drama and movies, translation looks like it was run through google translate so looks iffy at times but you'll still get the gist. I don't have a paid subscription for wetv.
5. AsianCrush - They have a very decent selection of dramas especially if you consider that they cover a lot more countries like Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia etc
6. DramaGo - Not my favourite, but it'll do in a pinch and they have a very good selection too.
